From a previous post about repealing the 2nd Amendment come this little tib bit:

The National Rifle Association does not have Republican “balls in a money clip,” as Jimmy Kimmel put it the other night. The N.R.A. has donated a paltry $3,533,294 to all current members of Congress since 1998, according to The Washington Post, equivalent to about three months of Kimmel’s salary. The N.R.A. doesn’t need to buy influence: It’s powerful because it’s popular.

Facts? We don't need no steenkin' facts.

Some body needs to do a little homework. Then again, those buying this crap don't care as above.

They never want to talk about schools, ADAH drugging, demonization and belittling of males, psychotropic drug side affects. Those are the problems related to school shootings. Guns, they are just the means, not the cause.

The more radical, the better. Ridicule them behind the scenes in discussions. Let them become more hysterical.

  Hysteria \Hys*te"ri*a\, n. [NL.: cf. F. hyst['e]rie. See
     Hysteric.] (Med.)
A nervous affection, occurring almost exclusively in women,
in which the emotional and reflex excitability is
exaggerated, and the will power correspondingly diminished,
so that the patient loses control over the emotions, becomes
the victim of imaginary sensations, and often falls into
     paroxism or fits.
     [1913 Webster]

Note: The chief symptoms are convulsive, tossing movements of
the limbs and head, uncontrollable crying and laughing,
and a choking sensation as if a ball were lodged in the
throat. The affection presents the most varied
symptoms, often simulating those of the gravest
diseases, but generally curable by mental treatment
           alone. Hysteric

The NRA has a SCORECARD, and you don’t want to be on the wrong side of it, especially if you’re a Republican. Voting begins tomorrow in Texas, I’ll see who they like here.

Perhaps liberals taking God out of schools invited evil in. Blaming guns is their old smoke and mirrors routine when it is the hearts that need changing. How many Christian kids have shot up schools?

Why doesn’t somebody ask to see the shooter’s NRA membership card?

I don’t see any curious journalists checking to see if he and his brother were adopted from a former ComBloc country or if they both suffer from too much vodka while in utero. Of course, that would take some actual work and media whores are allergic to that.

Why is abortion settled law but the 2nd isn’t? Why are Democrats in the bloody pockets of Planned Parenthood?

Is Martha going to volunteer to the guy on Point when they start breaking down the front Doors of Law Abiding American Citizens to seize their Guns?

Would she be vilifying the Auto Club if the Murderer ran down and killed scores of Students crossing the Street?

The NRA is powerful because it has 5MM members who are activist and vote. IIRC, the social rule of thumb is that for every vocal party willing to speak up, there are nine more who agree but are keeping their mouths shut. So the NRA actually represents the wishes of 50MM people.
