She's the first female amputee elected to Congress, the first Asian-American to represent Illinois in Washington and the first member of Congress born in Thailand... Who the heck cares that she's the first whatever? I don't vote for anyone based on that, and I'm not impressed by any of that. First female amputee? Really?

The only reason I care about those things, is how annoying it is to realize this person has no self worth without them.
None of those things mean “jack s___” when it comes to getting things done.
