I hate the figure skating now. Since they changed the way they score it you can fall down and still win a medal?!?! That’s ridiculous. At least in the snow sports if you fall down you’re out or your score reflects it. I don’t think medalists should be able to fall and still win.
They need to combine figure skating with shooting, like the Biathlon.
If you can do a Triple Lutz, then follow it up by nailing 10 out of 10 targets, then I’d really be impressed.
yep - used to be 3 events: long program, short program and actual figure skating where they were judged on the ability to stay on the figures. Eliminated the latter and the short program was basically made into cut down long program instead of a second program with a different song. It’s all opinion now. Damn shame.
