So if any of us U.S. citizens posted anti-Putin things on the Internet, could we be indicted in Russia of trying to interfere with Russian elections? Just wondering.

I would be astounded if the U.S. Government didn't have any operatives with accounts on VKontakte (the Russian equivalent of Facebook) where they would masquerade as Russian youth and mess with them.

Go to any Russian news website’s comment section. Every article regarding elections, Middle East or Ukraine is infested with hate-spitting Marxist trolls who are obviously non-native. Although they have followers among local Russian idiots.
