Nikolas Cruz confessed on Wednesday to being the shooter who killed 17 people at Florida's Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, according to a Thursday report from the Broward County Sheriff's Office.
Per the report, Cruz confessed to officers that he "began shooting students that he saw in the hallways and on the school grounds," according to AP. The report notes that Cruz told officers he'd "brought additional loaded magazines to the school campus and kept them hidden in a backpack until he got on campus to begin his assault."
Once students started to run away from the school, Cruz ditched his vest and the AR-15 rifle he'd used in the attack in order to blend in with the crowd, he told investigators. Cruz was apprehended by officers on a street near the school Wednesday afternoon.
On Thursday it was revealed by officials investigating the shooting incident that Cruz was a member of the white supremacist group "Republic of Florida," which encourages militia training for its members. He had reportedly also been flagged to the FBI for disturbing, violent content he'd posted online.
On Wednesday, Cruz opened fire on students and teachers alike at the Broward County high school he'd attended before being expelled for disciplinary problems. The current death toll stands at 17, with 14 others injured. A full list of the victims has not yet been released by officials.

At least one and possibly more teachers had the courage to sacrifice themselves to save students. It’s criminal they had to do it unarmed.
........hell, I haven’t cried in 40 years or more but I almost did today seeing the pic of this one little gorgeous 14 year old girl that was shot down for no reason at all. I can’t imagine the horror mom & dad are going through tonight.

Forgetting about Liberals, the bottom line is that there just is no cure for this problem. A mentally ill person, bent on killing, can do it with bombs, knives, trucks, guns, airliners...................... whatever!
That’s the frustrating part. You can’t just pass a law and it will go away.
First of all where ws security in the school?
Was a drill alarm set first and did he go in school then?
Then after all went back inside, he waited until all was settled down.
Then he pulled the alarm the second time, and began shooting when the students started exiting class rooms.
Was all the entrances secured locked with security cameras at each door.
The officials are not telling how the perp gained entrance to the school.
Did they ever find the rifle?
If Cruz was a white supremacist, why where all his victims white?
The MSM sucks! No wonder kids are confused.
May he rot in hell.

The sheriff said there was absolutely no evidence that Cruz was associated with a known white supremacist group. The leader of the group is a POS and a liar, and the ADL is trying to spread fake news also.
The white supremacist pig leader and his thug gang have been under surveillance for months—Cruz has not been a part of this scgroup.
Why is it still alive? Guilt is not in question-17 dead bodies are proof. He should get 17 bullets. Start at his feet and go up.. Let him bleed out. We don’t need memorials we need firing squads.
And if they blast their way in? Anyone approaching a school with a visible weapon should be shot on sight. It is the schools responsibility to protect the children by and and all means necessary.
Easy. He gave up without a fight.
