It’s time to close down the “intelligence community”. Could we not survive with just military intelligence?

Yep. The military could handle it without trying to overthrow the President.

All the military intelligence agencies report to Dan Coats, Director of National Intelligence who is in President Trump’s cabinet.

I’ve been thinking the same the last 2 years. Naval, army intelligence might just be good enough.

The President is Commander in Chief of Military, so for a balance, the Intel Agencies are a balance to that, or were! Now it appears O drama corrupted the Intel Community.

There should be a study on this. Homeland Security was to become the place that ALL INTEL AGENCIES shared info, as they did NOT do that on their own. 9/11 could have been stopped... if each had shared the info they had, separate from others! That was one of original purposes of having a Homeland Sec Agency.
