Did you rest well? I hope at least one nap was included in yesterday’s arrival ceremony!
My apartment smells awful this morning, and there’s not a lot I can do about it. I could go get another filter, but then, I wouldn’t have enough for Cheez-Nips and stuff. I don’t think he’s going to quit smoking or tell his friends to quit. If he gets reprimanded for the letter I turned in Friday, he will have three warnings left, the last one would be the eviction notice.
I hope Chuck from Hurricane calls on Monday...
I think I pinged you to the croc thread, but I believe we’re awaiting word from SJackson for word on whether we can use his thread for the Flying Castle aka Undead Thread.

One nap and a decent night of sleep. And no Overnight People! I have choir later, but I’ll have a shower first.
No one knows for sure at this point, since we’re awaiting permission from the thread owner, but when we do, I’ll make sure that Darksheare pings you, as will I, since we both have the Master Ping list for the Undead Thread.
I hope that little frog lives to croak another day... ;o]
The late Igor used to say, “A change is as good as a rest,” so I’m hoping this change is restful for you!
I don’t know what this day will hold for me, but whatever it is, I hope its not something I don’t want. But I probably shouldn’t say anything, as it often has a tendency to attract the very thing(s) I don’t want!

The late Igor was right, but it has to be a change of activities, not just a change of scene. A week on camp staff is a rest. Taking the family to the beach is not.
Knowing Igor as well as I did, I knew he meant a change of everything that one is doing, rather than just a change of scenery from where we lived.
That’s why I said, “Just a day, no phone, no TV, no neighbors, just a day.” That’s a change. Even if I did it here, which isn’t likely to happen because of circumstances, it would be a change from what I’m doing now.
Cheez Nips and stuff has been gotten, and my Real Brother’s genealogy is ready to be on its way to him. Just waiting for it to be processed by the USPS so I can begin tracking it.
The smoke from inside and outside is awful. So many things are burning in CA that a lot of people are having some bizarre physical reactions to the smoke.

I went to put a paper coffee cup in the freezer to chill it for my visit with Charlie, and get a cup of ice cream while I was in there, and my hand hit the cup on the way out. The mess was epic.
I had a case and a half of water stacked next to the fridge. The coffee went into the open one and drained very quickly into the one I had yet to open. I never knew that little bit of coffee could cause so much chaos.
I went to move the unopened case, and it split, spilling bottles and the coffee that dripped onto them all over the kitchen floor. The more water bottles I removed, the more coffee I found.
Did I mention I had coffee on my clothes? Can I go home now? What did I say in an earlier post? That I didn’t want to attract something? Too late. It was already on the way.

I hope all is well in your world.
Been busy with kids, work, and life. Needed a break from the online world. Politics for me is a futile endeavor, at least until people start shooting at each other, and the news is biased and fake on every side...
Much more fun trying to teach my 6 year old to throw a Frisbee and planning my oldest’s 15th BD party...
Dang, a 15-year-old girl. I have 9 years before that hits me again.
Sorry about your spill. I don’t let people put beverages in the fridge or freezer for that reason.
I’m back from choir. Time for lunch then nap.
Normally, I buy iced coffee but I didn’t have the money for it so I made mine. My fatal mistake was thinking it would cool faster without the lid.
I should have taken my earlier clumsiness into consideration. I didn’t.
I’ll be weeding out some of the more obnoxious people on FB because I’m getting my fill of their constant anger.
Seems only yesterday that your youngest was born. I miss the posts of milestones on FB, but I understand your not wanting stay online so much. Unlike me, you have a real life and I’m very happy for you!
Your mom is an extraordinary woman, and I have nothing but respect for her and all she does. (But I still miss your posts!)
