This military campaign isn't even legal by our own standards, unless Congress issued a formal declaration of war that I'm not aware of.
I think we are keeping balance of semi-involvement and distance...but will not stop Israel from defending itself against Iran crossing red lines in Syria. And that is only just one of the latest scuffles in the mess Putin is overseeing.
And not to be outdone by Iran, Turkey’s decided to have some sick fun too.

It is not like we are there in a vacuum as we are there at the same request of Kurds who suffer under that British Imperial inheritance of Assad fictionally named Syria
I agree. We are engaged illegally in Syria. Congress is supposed to declare war, not unilaterally by Obummer.

Do you say the same thing, when Israel carries out strikes against Syria? It’s okay to arm terrorists?
Also, Syria, Assad and Putin have flooded the West with refugees, yes, it is our business.
Syria has been a designated terrorist country since 1979.
Syria's sponsorship, via the provision of money, supplies and training, of Hezbollah and numerous other terror organizations that have conducted terror attacks against the US, including the Marine barracks bombing in the 1980's, and the torture and murder of the CIA station chief in Lebanon. It's possible that we're in the process of carving out a Kurdistan out of Syria and, perhaps later, Iraq. The big question here is whether they'll get access to the sea. Perhaps by carving a chunk out of Lebanon for the Alawites.
