Agree with he’s jihadi and should not have been CIA, but all clearances are ended when one leaves a cleared position. They’re held open in the system for 2 years pending a new cleared position is obtained. Need 3 things to gain access, a valid clearance, a position requiring a clearance, and a slot for that clearance to fill.
