I was at walmart today and a woman dressed in her outfit from head to toe in dark dismal cloth/sheet... only her eyes showing ... with 2 kids dressed sorta normal.. which brings me back to Macy outfitting them... Please turn out the lights as you're leaving, and don't let the door hit you on the ass! Seriously, whenever I hear someone say, "they were brought here without knowing they were breaking the law..." I want to spit nails. There are ramifications to profiting from a crime, even though you're not the direct criminal. For example, a man steals a car, then gives it as a gift to his daughter. According to their supporters, the girl should be allowed to keep the car, since she didn't know the car was stolen. But the police wouldn't allow the girl to keep the stolen car.

For people who can prove they were brought here as infants or young children, I understand that this is the only home they know. But they are here thanks to a crime, and should not be allowed to profit from the crime. I would be OK with letting them stay with permanent legal resident (green-card) standing, however they should only be allowed to apply for citizenship after spending at least 5 years in the military. Otherwise, no citizenship at all.

They should not be allowed to profit from a criminal act, even though they did not commit the crime themselves.
