Whatever. Re the rocket launch, I’ll defer to the guy who wrote the 5000 word blog post while waiting for DMV on why (satire) the government should be running healthcare...
...couldn’t have stated it better myself.
Some view this launch as an expression of our society; I view it as proof of failure of our government and Musk is no free enterprise success story. The mere suggestion that Musk represents anything Conservative whatsoever is truly hypocritical.
How is “Musk is no free enterprise success story”?
The guy has a personal goal, and is rebuilding industries and making boatloads of money to achieve it. Insofar as he’s “getting subsidies”, all he gets is tax cuts so he can use more of his _own_ money for the ventures (and generating _more_ tax revenue in the process).

His personal values may differ from yours, but upshot is he’s driving human ingenuity thru science, engineering, and capitalism - there’s nothing “not conservative” about what he’s doing. Insofar as he’s “getting subsidies”, he’s made clear he doesn’t need them, but would be foolish to not leverage $billions in tax credits when thrown at him. (You take tax credits when _you_ can, right?)
