Rosenstein. He has a clear conflict of interest here on two counts:

1. He is a material witness -- and possibly even the target in a criminal matter -- in a case where he has the sole oversight of the prosecutor.

2. As Deputy AG he is responsible for the oversight of the FBI, whose senior leaders secured FISA warrants for the case in question under potentially fraudulent circumstances. His signature appears on one of the FISA warrant applications.

I see what you’re saying. But I will very be surprised if there’s any accountability. You’re more optimistic than I am. Rosenstein doesn’t seem worried. Wray just gave a thumb’s up to FBI staff. Sessions is still acting like he’s on sedatives. And the media has Rosenstein’s back.
