I've never visited West Africa but I've traveled East Africa and southern Africa extensively and can guarantee that most of what I've seen there easily qualifies as “sh*thole”.

Yep...I worked for two years in the boonies of eastern Africa on a Yuge mine project and while I enjoyed being there, we used to refer to the continent as a giant TWSH; Third World S-Hole.

I spent a month in Namibia last year and while it is a very nice country, it too is starting to circle the bowl.

As we used to say; “AWA”; Africa Wins Again.
