President Trump is expected to approve the release of a classified memo spearheaded by the staff of House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes.
According to a Thursday afternoon pool report, a White House official confirmed upon arrival to West Virginia that the president "has read the memo."
Trump will declassify the controversial four-page memo that reportedly details surveillance abuses by the Department of Justice and FBI, and send it back to House Intelligence for a Friday morning release.

It’s going to be fun to flip the channed to CNN and watch them collectively mutter and stumble and explode.
I keep reading other sources that state it will be redacted before release. Now more confused. Not uncommon though.
How will democrats react to the release of the memo?
Depends. Truckloads of Depends.
Aw man, I had to eat crow on that. My faith is weak lol.
They were plenty on that other thread that claimed Trump was going to allow redact were pearl clutching and wailing, though...
The sooner, the better.
ALL RIGHT! FORGET the Kraken! Just RELEASE THE MEMO!!
Release it on Monday.
Let the talking heads on Sunday dance with their hair on fire.
No place for the East German police in America.
Im not sure I can wait that long. I can wait until Sunday afternoon.
[[I have never doubted he would release it without redactions. I was a little worried, but didnt doubt it.]]
He should release both just to make a mockery of the Dems that have been screaming the loudest that he can’t release it cause they altered it .
Then follow up by releasing the redacted version. Normal Americans, compare and contrast. This is what they didn’t want you to see.

I have a feeling what we are going to find is not just Trump was surveilled, but that they had been surveilling pretty much anybody they wanted at any time they wanted for years.
And by 3 PM the big story will be President Trump said, "Poo poo".
Being from NY, that’s for sure.
At his peak of building his real estate empire, he dealt with gangster from all five families i’m sure.
Not directly, but that’s what union reps and front businesses are for.
He’s prepared.
If Trump had agreed to redact a part of the Memo, I suspect Nunes laid out the reasons he shouldn’t. One of those reasons might have been that the entire House would vote to release the un-redacted memo. No sense in Trump taking a defeat from his own party.
