I've watched every State of the Union speech since before I can remember. Either I'm losing my memory, or that was the most powerful, emotional, and purely American one that I can remember. It brought tears to my eyes and that's saying a lot. I haven't weeped like a girl since election night. Real men are allowed to cry once a year. Look it up. I don't remember doing much but shaking my head with cynicism at past guests that were trotted out by Presidents. This time seemed different. Every one of them served to illustrate the new America we find ourselves in. Every one used to destroy the lie of the Democrat vision of America.

It was, and should have been to all Americans, eye opening to see all the things the Democrats were against, and displayed by sitting on their hands while Americans stood. The fools outted themselves like they always do.

The Donald, my President, made me so proud. Proud to have supported him, proud to have voted for him, and proud to have taken the mockery, ridicule, and evil that liberals try to put on me. The Donald represents me. In a way, he is me. As he suffers, I suffer. As he triumphs, I triumph. And so goes America. He is America, just as I am America. As we all are.

I can't help thinking about when the Donald first decided to run and his road to victory. How many of us, and the country at large, doubted he could do the job. Doubted that he would be a good President.

Remember "temperament," "experience?" "He's just a reality star?" I remember it all. Gradually, he gained supporters, believers. After this speech and the past year, there is no doubt. The Donald is the real deal. I'm saying it now. Yes, I know, Reagan. But The Donald is the greatest President this country has ever seen. There, I said it. Let me be the first. ThankQ The Donald. I stand with you. I bleed with you. And I win with you.

Man that was good. I feel like I felt after I first saw Rocky when it came out.

Now. About that memo..........

There’s something magical when God touches you and says “My President.”

Ronald “Maximus” Reagan definitely had it and brought down the evil empire, an unforgivable act the communists never got over. (I’m not talking about Soviet communists, there weren’t any there for a long time. It’s the US ones that have been the problem.)

God has answered many prayers by touching Donald Trump and making him the chosen vehicle to save this Republic.

Was there a dry eye when he addressed those family members who lost their teen daughters to MS-13?

Not here.

You wrote a good description of the speech! Just watch the President and the others in his great cabinet. That’s all we need to know about the political situation in the Administration now. They’ll take care of the duty of the Executive Branch.

The President told us well enough in his own, clear words as to what we can do, right in our homes and communities in our real lives!

So let’s produce. Let’s treat our neighbors right. Give some of them another chance. Find out what we’re capable of with our minds and bodies! Get outdoors. Get real! And while we’re producing and encouraging those around us, let’s get the vote out in our own communities for the 2018 elections to provide the congressional support for the President!

What do you think? Agreed?

"The Donald, my President, made me so proud".

And you made yourself and the readers of your above wonderful post proud, also.

I think the best ever SOTU will be when a president states, “the pre-born genocide of past decades has ceased. The cleansing of our bloody cities is finished and the just wrath of God will be withheld unless the shedding of innocent blood begins again.”

I didn’t see one of Obama’s SOTU’s because I hated looking at him - the Enemy in Chief who hates America.

I probably skipped most all of them since Reagan, since to me they were all political hacks until Trump.

I think the best is yet to come.

Now to the important stuff - hey Impy, I want to congratulate you on doing such a fine job on your NFL Playoff threads. Look forward to your Super Bowl thread.
