Trump absolutely crushed it tonight. The Dems brought their freaks and their Ladies In Black and looked like the fools that they are. About Joe Kennedy's "rebuttal" the less said the better, but he looked, sounded, and spoke like the worthless punk he is. The reply was that "USA! USA!" chant that I've never heard in a SOTU before, and that one sent the twerp named Gutierrez fleeing like a vampire from holy water.
I said it on the Live thread but it bears repeating: Trump's focus was on the Americans in the crowd who he wanted to celebrate; his predecessor's focus was exclusively on himself. "I, I, I..." So sick of that.
The Dems humiliated themselves tonight, and it didn't have to be like that. Polite applause, a nod of respect to the office if not to the man, these things would have conferred a dignity of a loyal opposition, which they are very obviously not. And they're the losers for it.
