love quebec city, nice French vibe. I went to Montreal from there on my own. Sat around large bar where everyone ate dinner, Italian food. We were all laughing and telling stories. When I asked for my check someone had already paid it.
I was there as a toddler once, no recollection though. My mother has 39 cousins up there so there are tons of relatives still. “Met” a couple on facebook, 2nd or 3rd cousins..love facebook for that. My great-grandmother’s house at 1384 Overdale Ave. was later owned by my great-Aunt Kate. There was a fire that gutted it in 1973 or 4..shortly after she died of a heart attack, it was too much for her to bear. Now it’s a bed and breakfast, La Petite Prince..found it online and on Trip Advisor.
