Reagan was an actor and that showed. This seemed more like an honest Joe speaking from his heart.
I adored Reagan and now love Trump (not happy with his proposed amnesty and $1.5 trillion on infrastructure).
BTW, Reagan’s last SOTU was delivered Monday, January 25, 1988. We’ve been wandering in the wilderness 30 years.

Reagan was amazing. My first Presidential election, and I was so proud that he was our CinC.
Trump brought that back, and with his own style. Never thought I’d see that twice in my lifetime.
It’s like... “Welcome HOME... again”.
The infrastructure needs rebuilt. There is no question about it. It’s a big pricetag, but the jobs created and the renewed safety of old roads and bridges is long overdue.
We often forget that infrastructure is what we’re SUPPOSED to be paying taxes for, not transgender surgeries!
