As Republicans Attack The DOJ And FBI, Sessions Vows To Stand Up To 'Unfair' Criticism

With his Justice Department and FBI facing broad attacks from some of his former colleagues on Capitol Hill, Attorney General Jeff Sessions said on Friday that he’ll stand up to any “unfair” attacks on the men and women of the Justice Department he now oversees. Sessions, in a speech in Norfolk, Virginia, on Friday, mentioned the “sharp criticisms” of DOJ coming from Congress. He said the Justice Department demands “the highest level of integrity, ethics, and professionalism from every person” in it, and that all employees are expected to “advance the mission of the Department honorably” in the service of the American people. “If anyone falls short of these high standards, we will not hesitate to take appropriate action, and we will do so in accordance with the rules and procedures of the Department,” Sessions said. “And, while we are open to fair criticism, we will of course defend our investigators and prosecutors from criticism that is unfair.”

I thought you were smarter that that. Apparently not. When you are proven wrong, and you will be, will you please do this forum a favor and leave?

Ad hominem. The refuge of the intellectually bankrupt and other scoundrels.

I just charged Jeff Sessions with incompetence, cowardice, and complicity in an ongoing coup against the President, and you respond with a juvenile personal attack.

Provide a reasoned defense of Sessions, or let everyone note that you have forfeited the argument.

p.s. Others on the thread have leveled even stronger accusations than I have. I havent seen you respond to them.

This guy is a store dummy, what the hell is [President] Trump doing?

I can tell you what President Trump is not doing—he's not paying any attention to the gratuitous second-guessing by pearl-clutching naysayers who clearly haven't the faintest idea of what's really going on behind the scenes.

Now, I don't know what's going on behind the scenes either—but what I do know is that this President has earned my trust—not to mention the benefit of the doubt—a dozen times over during the course of the last two years. He's proven himself to be completely on top of virtually every situation—repeatedly.

So, considering all these factors, you might want to re-evaluate your presumption that AG Sessions is aught but a "store dummy". With political investigations such as this—especially those which involve potential criminality at the highest levels and therefore which require extreme secrecy—things aren't always as they seem. You should probably remain open to the possibility that you've completely misread this situation, and—consequently—this Attorney General as well...

A few months ago if I remember correctly, some knucklehead at the FBI responded that Hillary was NOT going to be prosecuted because the public did not care........ That response was idiotic BUT some deep state moron thought that they could get away with it.

It appears to me that the correct way to attack the lawlessness of Hillary, Hussein Obama and the other deep state criminals is to do NOTHING now but let them continue to dig their holes deeper.

It seems like every day we learn some more SIGNIFICANT facts in THE DEEP STATE vs. THE PEOPLE. This week we get at least SOME of the FBI love bird's missing emails. We got more press from the deep state RATS who do NOT want to release THE MEMO. When the memo is released, and it will be because we have millions of citizens demanding that it be released, more Americans will be added to the list of those who believe our government has pockets of corruption that is way beyond believable.

I think President Trump (and his inner circle) are handling this perfectly:

1. DO NOTHING and let the Congressional investigations proceed

2. Let the Demonrat Politicians and their presstitutes continue to defend the corrupt FBI, DOJ, CIA.....

3. In the mid-term elections, hammer every Demonrat with documentation that shows the incummbents defended felony criminality across the board.

4. Only after the pile of charges against Hussein Obama, Hillary, Comey, Mueller, Rosenstein,....... becomes so DEEP that it can no longer be ignored, then START THE ARRESTS.

If the arrests proceed slowly enough, maybe we will get some suicides from this pack of traitorous criminals. Think about how much money that will save when they kill themselves rather than WE THE PEOPLE have to pay for their prosecutions, for their incarcerations, for their executions! As the radical left that is still around crowds to the deep state funerals, those of us WILL SEE that Lincoln was right, YOU CAN FOOL SOME OF THE PEOPLE ALL OF THE TIME.

Some of you MAY be correct, the arrests will never happen. BUT I think they will, and the felons such as Hussein, Hillary, Comey..... behind bars will change America far into the future. Patience will be awarded IMHO.

True enough, but to be fair, Trump never could have envisioned the Alabama GOP nominating a foolish loose cannon like Judge Roy. Luther Strange was the heir apparent to the seat, and woulda/shoulda won it in a walk.

That’s not true.

Trump knew Luther was dirty because one of the journalists who broke the “Gov. Bentley/Mistress/Luther killed the investigation for the senate seat” story WORKS for Trump now. (Cliff Sims.)

It was known, but they decided to take a chance on the known dirt with Luther rather than the unknown dirt on Judge Moore.

Spin the wheel, take your chances.
