It all depends on what a judge has to say after taking a hard look at Proposition 65, the "Safe Water and Toxic Enforcement Act" passed in 1986, which requires businesses and public places to post warnings about possible cancer risks.

That’s been the case for at least a decade, maybe two, from what I can see from afar.
OK, that’s funny, because I’ve ordered stuff online before because it was labeled “cannot be shipped to California”.
I find the prospect of Starbucks coffee cups labeled with a California recognized carcinogen warning strangely satisfying to my inner irony meter.
