Yeah, I saw the CNN article earlier on Free Republic. I thought it was pretty stupid.

Two things, cuck is not short for cuckservative, not sure where CNN got that. It is short for cuckold. Second, I do not believe a relationship built on watching your spouse have sex with another person is one that can last. Come on! I am willing to bet in the real world, the vast majority of people desire a monogamous relationship.

Those words, “cuck” and “cuckservative” have been banging around Twitter for a couple years. I remember it being used as a way to disparage conservatives who strayed from authentic conservatives values, although I was never quite sure. I found the term distasteful.

Here is a definition: Cuckservative, cuck: The term “cuckservative” originated in the alt-right. It’s a portmanteau of “conservative” and “cuckold” used to describe Republicans who are perceived to be emasculated or “selling out.” Frequently shortened to “cuck,” the term has come under scrutiny for its racist implications.
