President Trump said Wednesday he is “looking forward” to testifying before special counsel Robert S. Mueller III and that he would speak under oath.
“I would love to do it, and I would like to do it as soon as possible,” Trump said at the White House. “I would do it under oath, absolutely.”
The president suggested he was being investigated for obstruction of justice as part of the Russia investigation because he was “fighting back” and reiterated there was “no collusion” between his campaign and Moscow.
“Oh well, did he fight back?” Trump said, “You fight back, oh, it’s obstruction.”
Mueller’s team has told Trump’s lawyers they want to question the president about the firing of national security adviser Michael Flynn and FBI Director James B. Comey — they have also asked witnesses in recent weeks about Trump’s attempts to oust Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
The president suggested the interview could take place in the next two or three weeks and said he continued to consult with his lawyers. The president has previously criticized the wide-ranging investigation into his administration, calling it a “hoax” and a “witch hunt.”

Will be interesting to see if Mueller backs down on interviewing Trump. Either way, seems like Trump is giving more attention to this clown’s investigation.
The great sound bite for the media will be recordings of Trump saying he will meet with Mueller that will play 24x7 the day Trump says he won't meet now.
The Press dent has the Constitutional authority to fire Sessions, Mueller, Comey, and Flynn.
This is nothing more than an attempt to criminalize his authority, and President Trump knows it.
This is the best and only way to finish this thing.
And this is someone who is known to...exaggerate from time to time.
We all know that Mueller is laying out a perjury trap for the President to step into.
I hope that Mr. Trump's competitive side doesn't blind him to the nastiness of these types of interviews.
What? Of COURSE Trump will speak to Mueller.. That doesn’t mean he’ll answer all questions.. Just that he’ll speak to Mueller, perhaps to tell him “YOU’RE FIRED!!” or “YOU ARE HEREBY UNDER ARREST BY ORDER OF __________”

I recall she was interviewed by FBI regarding emails but not under oath.
This is why they and THEIR PUPPET MEDIA had such a hissy fit when Trump fired Comey. Comey's firing meant one LESS hack in place acting on THEIR behalf while Trump is president.
