Why?

Dr Jordan Peterson (youtube) notes that IF a person IS "disagreeable," THEN they will WANT to win a competition.

Hence they are compelled to pick fights and to vainly do all they can to win them--usually by intimidation, arrogance etc. The men are probably trying to prove who has the longer manhood. The women may be trying to prove who is smarter or more clever or some such.

I'm just weary of their ignorance and general level of lack of perceptiveness ... and too often, of their stupidity.

The desire to win arguments to be “top dog” is very malignant. I have seen this in myself a lot and realized how reprehensible it is and have done my best to weed it out.

Does NOT preclude telling the truth, just the urge to “best” someone else.
