I don't watch television, but as part of a video classroom assignment on how show segments are strung together, I ended up watching Saturday Night Live. I watch it anyway on YouTube for the glimpse it gives on how the left "thinks."
I watched the opening segment last night, which was a mirthless five-minute take attempting to convince us President Trump was dumb. Later on in the program, at the half-hour mark, the second political skit, led by actress and guest host Jessica Chastain was more interesting.
Using the format of a cheesy game show with a panel of three contestants, Chastain asked her contenders in the five-minute segment whether this or that action of President Trump's "matters anymore."

And that’s fine. But if you don’t watch it, you really can’t shit on it.
TVs have channel changers these days. You don’t even have to get out of the lift chair anymore.
(And I hear if you watch too much of that quee stuff, it might rub off.)
Was it my imagination? Audience laughter seemed minimal.
Snarky Neo-Liberals

SNL: Stupid Nonsensical Losers
Haven’t watched the stupidity for more than 20 years, and have not missed being bored by them. I’s probably the unfinniest show on TV. The only reason it still exists is because it’s a liberal attack-a-thon on Trump and on Bush before that and Romney and on Palin and even on McCain when he opposed McCain, and every other republican that dare challenge the liberal orthodoxy.
Exactly. It’s not edgy or poking the establishment because the left is the establishment. Their speech codes and SJW activism etc.
Does the left really think they’re being rebellious attacking Trump? LOL okay
I wonder what the ratings are this season.
SNL gets the message out preaching to the choir. As long as Lorne Michaels is the producer, the only audience could be the ones in the studio and it will still go out over the air. SNL is effectively an adjunct of NBC News. It aint going anywhere.
You would "probably" be wrong about I last saw an episode of SNL. I see them from time to time, becasue of other people that enjoy the show. It's just as biased and lopsided now as it always has been. The only difference between the years that started with 19 and 20 is the it isn't even remotely funny anymore. So yes, I guess that by my definition, despite your degrees, you are "dim witted". Hope that clears things up for ya ;-)
Well, I will ponder that. You know some of us are slower than others....
