Sorry for the late morning and I really need to look for information. I heard this morning that we were suppose to wrap our outside water spickets so cold air won't get into our water pipes. We don't have a basement but a large crawl space. We know to have our water dripping but I wasn't aware of wrapping the outside spickets. I braved the 11 degrees and bubble wrapped the outback and threw bread and bird food on the ground while I was out there. I'm trying to get up the nerve to go out again and wrap the front.

Once I get out of my chair I sleep in, I loose it to Simon my cat. LOL He watches me every morning for the chair.

Again today, Pres Trump reaches out to new member on the UN Security Council in phone call with Emir of Kuwait. WH says they discussed ways to increase US-Kuwait cooperation. Kuwait assumes presidency of the UNSC in February and serves as a non-permanent member through Dec 2019.

Weather people calling it a "light dusting to an inch" of snow in DC today. Pre-treating Wisconsin Avenue made drive to work a breeze.

This afternoon, Pres Trump will take part in a Capitol ceremony bestowing a Congressional Gold Medal on former Senator and Majority Leader Bob Dole. Pres Trump signed the bill authorizing the Gold Medal for Dole in September. Dole served in Congress from 1961 to 1996.per-Mark Knoller-CBS.

FYI, these insulated thingies are great for water spigots.

You just hook the end of the rubber cord (inside the cover) onto the spigot, pull it snug to the house wall, and move the little button up to keep it in place.
