DHS asked prosecutors to charge sanctuary city leaders - https://t.co/w3rVdy16AY - @washtimes— Chuck Woolery (@chuckwoolery) January 16, 2018
The Department of Justice is reviewing what avenues may be available, Ms. Nielsen told the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Her confirmation came after Californias new sanctuary law went into effect Jan. 1, severely restricting cooperation the state or any of its localities could offer.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director Tom Homan says those policies put his officers and local communities at more risk because they have to arrest illegal immigrants out in the community.
Mr. Homan told The Washington Times last July that he wanted to see local officials charged as complicit in human smuggling if they shielded illegal immigrants through sanctuary policies.

"Out!" Trump orders CNN star Jim Acosta leave Oval Office after reporter's newest outburst.https://t.co/DiVlJPpgWE— Sara A. Carter (@SaraCarterDC) January 16, 2018
President Trump kicked CNN star Jim Acosta out of the Oval Office Tuesday after the networks senior White House correspondent badgered him with racially charged questions.
Acosta has made a habit of grandstanding and interrupting when Trump and his surrogates are available to the media. Tuesday was no exception, as Acosta yelled, Mr. President, three times before finally getting Trumps attention.
Did you say that you want more people to come in from Norway? Did you say that you wanted more people from Norway? Is that true Mr. President? Acosta frantically shouted.
I want them to come in from everywhere everywhere. Thank you very much everybody, Trump responded as Acosta continued to bark questions.
Just Caucasian or white countries, sir? Or do you want people to come in from other parts of the world people of color, Acosta shouted.
After watching those media blithering idiots in the news conference, I say THEY should all be required both a cognitive AND an IQ test prior to being issued credentials!!

According to court documents, in August 2012, Lee and his family left Hong Kong to return to the United States to live in northern Virginia. While traveling back to the United States, Lee and his family had hotel stays in Hawaii and Virginia. During each of the hotel stays, FBI agents conducted court-authorized searches of Lees room and luggage, and found that Lee was in unauthorized possession of materials relating to the national defense. Specifically, agents found two small books containing handwritten notes that contained classified information, including but not limited to, true names and phone numbers of assets and covert CIA employees, operational notes from asset meetings, operational meeting locations and locations of covert facilities.

Rep. Ron DeSantis, a Florida Republican and Chairman of the National Security Subcommittee, sent a letter last week to House Speaker Paul Ryan, asking him to direct Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee Devin Nunes , R-CA to declassify documents given to the committee related to the dossier. He asked Nunes to utilize the process known as Rule X to make the documents available to the American people and said Fusion GPSs continuing research into President Trump should be investigated.
DeSantis told this reporter that releasing the information on the dossier and the classified FISA applications is the first step in getting the truth to the public.
Congress needs to determine the role played by Fusion GPS in the Russia matter and that includes any current Fusion activity, said DeSantis. Fusion has not been forthright with Congress and the American people deserve the facts.
Acosta asks are you withholding anything from us?
Yes, we’re not telling you what jackasses you are to your faces.
