Agreed, no argument here
When I was in the Army stationed at Fort Devens (76-79) a few times Natick Army labs came with test food. We had to prepare it exactly to their instructions, our troops were the test troops.
Some were good, some were terrible, like cardboard. Fun times as a cook.
They know where the good stuff is. LOL!
I have done some of that outside so he can see, but my two want to hurry in because he’s there. It’ll happen one day. Just gotta be patient. I don’t think he’s ever belonged to anyone. Don has seen him around since he and several siblings were little things, running wild.
I didn’t think they’d find much tonight. The eagle left very little and a juvie flew in and picked around for leftovers after the diner left.
But the mice were there a while so there must have been a lot of tiny pieces.
Yep, patience is the key. He’s been on his own a long time and it’ll take a while.
I always talk to him when I feed him and tell him what a handsome boy he is and what a good boy. He just looks at me like...will ya just pour the food already. LOL!
Hmmmmm....test troops. Not a lot of fun not knowing if you were going to get good food or cardboard.
I did the same with Thorn, Toby, and Celeborn when I was working on taming them. They’d each give me a look like, “I don’t want flattery. I want food!”
After they were tamed, they ate up the flattery.
I miss those silly fellers. They were the sweetest cats once they discovered what it was like to be cared for and loved.
I look forward to hearing that Ghost has made that discovery.
Me too. I think he’s just going to be a big ol’ lovebug.
How cold is it there now? It’s now 28 here...feels like 15. I can’t hear the wind blowing, but I’m sure it is.
I think he’ll be one too. No telling how many people have yelled at him, running him off. Cats love lovin’ and he’ll eat it up once he experiences it.
It’s 30 here at the moment and no wind yet. Last time I checked the radar, the leading edge of the snow was falling apart. The air might be dry enough to keep us from getting hit too hard.
Can I sneak it in?
That would be a relief if the snow would go somewhere else! I’m beginning to feel the chill in the house now. I’ll bet I sleep really good. I always do when I can bundle up.
Bet you can! I was off in la-la land. LOL!
WOOOHOOOOOOO!
There’s enough in the system we should get something out of it. It won’t hurt our feelings if it’s just a dusting though we do need the moisture. We’ve had only .2 an inch of rain in the past two and a half weeks.
It’s getting chilly in our house too. I had to turn on the second space heater in this room a little while ago.
I was ready tonight. LOL
We try...LOL!!
We do....and by golly, we get it done. As soon as we can. Right? :)
I think we’ve had just about that much rain in the past 2 months. If this keeps up, spring is going to be a hell-hole of blowing sand and high wind.
This is the only place I ever lived where I just hated spring, just for that reason! Unless it rains a good bit in January and February.
((HUGS))How's everyone doing this morning?
It sounds like it’s already a hell-hole of blowing sand and high wind. I hope y’all can get some significant rain SOON.
I hope we get significant rain here because I noticed today that TVA has dropped the level of the lake behind us lower than it’s been in several years. The last time they did that, we had a dry spring and summer and the lake never reached summer pool. None of the lakes around here did.
Don’t they know it’s a jinx to do that?!!
Thanks, unique, for the roadies!
radu.....#50!!
