I don’t believe it was an accident, either.
At a minimum a SJW liberal decided they could do something.....
Does anyone find the story about father that had to decide between two grown children to spend, what he thought was, his last moments on earth?
Both of his adult children could have all met at one location?
Yep. The only question is ‘how many were involved and how high up does it go?’
(A) what I’ve heard (first) was that it was a change of shift (ODD timing to do such a thing)
(B) that a confirmation code was needed (had to enter the signal twice, basically)
(C) that the user was trying to send a “test” signal (with the message THIS IS NOT A DRILL???)
some observations
- the voice on the recording did not instill confidence (to me)
- how long before the Left says that Rush induced panic today by playing the alert message?
Neither Hillary’s called nor Huma’s ankle {bracelets} would be visible in those pictures.
They will always over-reach in their delusions of adequacy.
Let’s leave it there for the nonce. Despite both our honest efforts we are not communicating effectively today.
Perhaps another day?
That was the first thing...I thought of.
And I'm not Rush.........
Has Rush ever activated a mass notification event? Does he know the steps? Has he ever run a system test?
If he had, he would know that what happened was pretty easy to do if you haven’t set it up correctly or if you are a moron just clicking through a routine test.
The second NORAD false alarm in July 1980 took 30 minutes to draw down the alert crews (my arse was clamped tight for a week). It took that amount of time to verify through the NCA that nothing was going on and to isolate the problem. The public was not alerted because it was immediately known that there was no threat. Difference from now is that NCA is the only entity that has monitoring and authority to order a release. States can only alert the public based on what they get from the NCA so they have no other sources. In this case they had zilch from Pacific Command or other NCA sources to base a warning on.
Hawaiian politicians spent almost all of those 34 minutes deciding how to cover their worthless asses.
I think you’ve done what I do sometimes.
I have more than one window open and post a comment to the wrong open window.
Since I recall making the comment, I know how it fits in.
The left wants to destroy this country.....this was not a mistake.
I have done that yes.
But it’s a quote from Rush in the article.
You got to be the lucky recipient!! ;)
But clicking it again would be reflex wouldn't it? The guy would be thinking that he was sending the TEST alert, that he was intending.
I think we all have the experience of blowing off warnings, because we think ( usually correctly, ) that we "know better."
... Of course, this doesn't excuse anything! How did it come about that this poor sap was put on the spot like this?
I have, not a theory but an idea of how the whole general tenor and mood of the "Get Trump" ambience can lead to this sort of thing, even if none of actual actors is conscious of it. Whether there is some master manipulator behind the whole thing, I couldn't say. I remain doubtful, but intrigued.
That's why I was confused.
Hey, no problem. Thanks for the explanation.
A lesson here for the naive: believe NOTHING the government tells you...especially one replete with LIB losers and their “friends”.
The ironic part is that according to sources on the internet, it would take 20 minutes for a nuke to hit Hawaii when launched from North Korea. So that 37 minute lag........well, lets say the last 17 minutes would never have been witnessed by Hawaiians.
It was a long article but i read through most of it. I was looking for a place to post that comment and say you....
So.....lol
The actual text of the message says it was coming from the Pacific Command.
There is another thing I want verified, I have heard that Hawaii explicitly asked for a counter strike from federal government. If that is true, then people need to go to jail.
