One, possibly two previous US Presidents in Hawaii during the false alarm missile alert and it's not news?
They new in mere moments that they had screwed up.
A test of the system was turned into a live warning of imminent nuclear attack.
Moments later, cell phones across the building started chirping with the dire warning.
I think this really was their plan:

This is probably why they waited for FEMA to “give them permission” to cancel the alert. They wanted to make double dammed sure Trump was in the loop and give him time to mash the button...

Rush seems to be implying that the false alarm may not have been accidental. Given the amount of vitriol that’s out there against Trump it’s not such a stretch to think it was intentional.

What is the procedure for sending out a message like the one that went out. Investigate that and you will have your answer if it was a mistake or intentional.

I wouldn’t go that far. It was an attempt to show that people are so scared of Trump that this alert would seem credible (i.e. “no one would have thought this was real when Lord Obama was Master of the Universe, but now this crazy man makes me feel scared all the time”). Then, the talking heads on the TV box take that adolescent hysterical fear and use it to claim that Trump’s “insanity” is affecting us all and that’s why he must be removed at all costs.
I said right after the election if Trump didn’t make it his #1 priority to see to it that the CCF (Clinton crime family) was indicted, prosecuted and convicted, that they would cause a lot of problems for him down the line and that’s exactly what is happening. I would not put it past the CCF in the least to create a fake missile attack to get him to push the button. The matriarch of the CCF is the absolute definition of a criminal psychopath, and there is nothing she will not do to bring him down. She is behind ALL of this heat against him, ALL of it. The Russia collusion hoax, the constant media bashing, the fake sex assaults, the corruption of the FBI, getting Turban Durbin to lie, she is running the whole show. She’s got 30 years of connections in Washington and the media and she is using every single last bit of it and I hope the secret service are on their toes.

Just a theory, but I was wondering if their system has the ability to issue a cancellation of an alert? I would be willing to bet that the all-knowing designers of the system didn’t even think of that possibility. It took them 34 minutes to set up the system to issue a cancellation of the alert. Just a theory.
There should have been 3 choices on their drop-down menu:
-actual alert
-test alert - exercise
-cancel actual alert.

In the press conference on the afternoon of the false alert, the governor and one other guy said the alert button (really, a mouse click) has to be done twice. Do it once and it says “do you really want to send this alert?” and you have to click it again. The press then asked, “ok, how did it happen, then?” They replied that they didn’t know but were going to find out. (I saw this in real time) It weren’t no accident, imho.

Even if it was accidental...and I'll never believe that...how do they explain waiting 38 minutes to let people know? How do you NOT immediately send out a correction?
