Ignored sign read Honor Your Veterans. No wading. (blood boil alert)
I thought I saw steps in the pool, and steps in the pool implies that it is built in part for wading. No knee-high physical barrier implies wading permitted. The problem seems to be a disconnect between the architectural design and the local rules. Given that, it is difficult to justify big indignation. I suspect my father (WWII vet, pacificist, liberal) would not have complained. WWII vets were used to far worse. Most of them grew up in the Depression and were accustomed to hard times, even before WWII occurred.
I wonder if the snowflakes ever heard of “Operation Wetback”.
Reminds me of when my Uncles gave my Grandmother her new bathroom, with plumbing in the house. They had a burning of the outhouse, drank beer and watched 3 terriers kill the shit house rats as the ran out!
Park Rangers are not doing their job.
I guess I’m being contrarian but I think it’s good the kids.are playing and enjoying it isn’t disrespect. The place is too inviting in heat
A reminder, this memorial had rangers and barriers al around when they had a government “shutdown”. hey aggressively kept vacationing veterans out of there.
You guess? Where would you draw the line? When you see a turd or beer can floating in the water?
There are signs explicitly saying not to get in the water. The hell it isn't disrespectful.
I’d not be surprised if visitors from Shitholistan used the water as a toilet.
bttt
“There are signs explicitly saying not to get in the water.”
Written in Paki, Chinese, spanish, etc?
It’s the first time they have seen water you can actually see through?
“. She just looked at him and shrugged. We were fuming. No park rangers anywhere.”
They only man it when there is a government shutdown.
Hey aren’t those chithole countries? LOL!
That's a good question. I once watched the changing of the guard at the tomb of the unknown solider. Idiots were talking on their cellphones and otherwise not paying attention.
A 6' 7" soldier in perfect dress uniform walked up told them politely but firmly to be quiet. You could hear a pin drop after that.
I bet they have to do that every time.
“Shocking.....positively shocking!”
Unfortunately, I don’t think most of them are tourists; I think they’re immigrants. The Pakistani guy said, “I live here now”. Apparently, no one is required to learn about American culture. Oh, wait...I forgot...they probably watch movies and tv, so no problem, right? (Sigh)
If you arrive in Saudi Arabia drunk, you will be arrested, and put on the next flight out back to America.
Those tourist should’ve faced the same consequences.
