Dodge Charger and 67-668 Mustangs... two of my favorites.
There’s a scene in Bullitt, during the chase, where they blow past what appears to be a 68 Pontiac GTO as well, with the snorkel hood scoops. Also a white 68 Firebird in another scene.
So many badass cars were around back then.
There are probably plenty of mundane LeMans and 6 cyl Firebirds and Camaros, maybe Mustangs out that that can be had for a (relative) song.
If you only want "the look" and not matching number/factory hotrods, there are ways to build such a car without spending a fortune.
Me? I'd like to have a 68 Chevelle SS sedan delivery.
(hint: there never was such a thing)
