Police have arrested more than 3,400 people for offensive online comments in one year an investigation by The Times has revealed.
Figures obtained through the Freedom of Information Act has revealed that political police chiefs have been spending taxpayers money on arresting internet trolls under section 127 of the Communications Act 2003, which makes it illegal to intentionally cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety to another introduced in 2016.
Given that thirteen police forces have refused to submit the figures of their arrests of internet commentators, the total number of politically motivated harassment and arrest by police is certain to be far higher.

“” “” This is horrific— like something out of an Orwellian Dystopia or somewhere like Cuba or the former soviet union. This should never be happening in a western demcoracy””” “
With the exception that the Soviet Union mostly didn’t go that far.
There is a ‘People’ s Cube’ conservative satire website run by a Soviet immigrant.
The guy was doing the same thing in USSR since 1970s and he said KGB visited him and threatened to force his employer to fire him would he not stop but it never materialized.
First time he was actually arrested and put in jail in Virginia in 2017 over pro-Israel posters.
“I like the American version better.”
The limey one was more than I wanted. I gave the US one a miss.
Add this to London having one of the largest surveillance camera networks in the world, do not be fooled, the left has virtually turned London and a lot of UK into a virtual police state.
All of them
and how many are more like you or me saying we dont want a lot of immigration
None of them
Now just a cotton pickin’ minit here. Let’s be fair. People are so free to express their views on the streets, in violence against Jooos!, white people, and infidels generally, and feuding with rival sects of Islam and the police. They just have to watch their mouths in that little niche called the Internet, and everyone has a tizzy over it.
That’s what happens when you allow yourself and your people to be disarmed and won’t fight back when it starts.
There’s a book called “And Not A Shot Was Fired” by Jan Kovacs.
It’s worth reading. It’s more of an instruction manual...
The media's "Russian collusion" anyone? 80% of the US media would be locked up if that were a US law and enforced against those who call themselves journalists. How about those in the UK trolling Trump? Like "Khaaaaaaan"!
Apparently this can happen to a Constitutional Monarchy like the UK. I thought Canada was bad with our human rights tribunals, but to date no one has been arrested (many have been fined and put under injunctions). Difference is the UK IS a fascist state - Canada is BECOMING one. South Africa is basically a failed socialist state. Can’t really comment on the other two Constitutional Monarchies - Australia and New Zealand. I do know Australia has closed down around 10,000 websites, the government deems as pornography.
Already lost. The UK and Western Europe.
What remains to be seen is if these countries survive: Switzerland, Old eastern Europe, Canada, Australia, New Zealand. Canada at the moment is on the WRONG track with our part time drama teacher is PM.
The UK went off the rails under King James when it started rounding up Presbyterians and others who would not embrace the Anglican faith. That was put to rest under the Glorious Revolution, but maybe the rot stayed and was always there.
Interesting and sad.
{ shrug }
It’s been illegal for several years now for pastors in Canada to read from certain “offensive” parts of the Bible.
Coming to a “private” Marxist Corporate-collective near you soon!
>>Fahrenheit 451
Oooh. Reading books like that is going to get you on double plus probation!
I need to read the whole thing I guess. Plus Atlas Shrugged and watch THX1138.
I DID go through Ayn Rand’s “Anthem” in school....
I still like to watch 2004’s “Manchurian Candidate” - loaded with Democrats, they actually made it a reality in 2008. Yes, even Al Franken is in there (ever so briefly). Really didn’t care for it at the theater but now really like it.
And the 1974’s(?) “The Parallax View” - only Warren Beatty movie I can watch multiple times. Old school but interesting.
I made a few errors in that post which somebody corrected me on. I actually asked for it to be removed, LOL.

More Soma Please?
Getty image, sorry.
Sounds about right.
Maybe they implanted microchips in the brains of people fooled by Obama. Let’s see if they buy Cup of Noodles, tomatoes, No-Doz and romance novels.
