Police have arrested more than 3,400 people for offensive online comments in one year an investigation by The Times has revealed.
Figures obtained through the Freedom of Information Act has revealed that political police chiefs have been spending taxpayers money on arresting internet trolls under section 127 of the Communications Act 2003, which makes it illegal to intentionally cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety to another introduced in 2016.
Given that thirteen police forces have refused to submit the figures of their arrests of internet commentators, the total number of politically motivated harassment and arrest by police is certain to be far higher.

That Communications Act provision is itself a deliberate harassment.

Chilling and sad. The country that gave the world Winston Churchill has surrendered to tyranny without a fight.

[They ignore or dismiss the truth. They have been thoroughly indoctrinated. They are the greatest Useful Idiots in history.
I no longer waste time with them. It is useless.]
Liberals are prepared to receive and fully-embrace the Antichrist (IMHO). 2008 and 2012 proved it beyond a shadow of a doubt. They have a serious disconnect with reality.

Fahrenheit 451 was written by American Author Ray Bradbury and was set in an American city although the film was shot in England. 1984 was written by George Orwell and was set in London, the capitol of Oceania. The chase scene you are thinking of is from THX1138 by George Lucas and was filmed in and around the San Francisco area. Figured I got it wrong. Oops.
Yeah I knew Ray Bradbury was an American but messed up on the rest. I was flipping channels at the time.
Thanks for the correction and the info!
