A discussion on U.S. President Donald Trump’s comments on developing nations and his decision to cancel his planned working visit to the UK in February soon turned to the failures of “shithole” London city mayor Sadiq Khan, as Breitbart London editor in chief Raheem Kassam was interviewed on Britain’s Sky News.
Dismissing the President’s excuse that he didn’t want to visit London because the new U.S. embassy had been a bad financial deal, Kassam — the author of the 2017 bestselling book No Go Zones — laid the blame squarely on the shoulders of leading Labour party figures including the leader of the opposition Jeremy Corbyn, and London mayor Sadiq Khan — both of whom have done all but promise massive street actions against the President should he visit the city.

The embassy was moved (I take it with Obama’s blessings) away from their embassy row to a sad section of South London. Yet another insult to America. It is a hideous building and Trump is right to call it out as that. From the price tag, it also looks like a graft-making enterprise (what a shock!)
Don’t believe people who will tell you it’s in a nice neighborhood near the Tate Museum. It is not.
These people are going to have to deal with us after Brexit. Insults are not going to help them. I guess they’re hoping by the time that works out, another anti-American president will be in place.

It may very well have been - but what year? And what administration came up with the location and the amount? Not that I’m making excuses for Bush - he was no bargain, either.
Thanks so much for posting. The guy was brilliant. I will say one thing for Sky: they let him speak. He spoke in complete paragraphs at a time without any interruption. Can you imagine that on Fox, CNN or MSNBC???
I have to laugh at the black interviewer who spoke with an uppercrust accent using all the posh exclamations so beloved by Brits: “Super!” “Smashing!” I’m sure this is the same fellow who thinks Haiti is full of diversity and love even while he avoids it like the plague.

The embassy move was Bush approved. The sale price of the old embassy, and the cost of the new embassy construction, was all Obama.
