I had a friend (a boy) who was introduced to sex at age 7 by a neighborhood girl 3 years older.

His entire life centered around sex and girls (until he got religion...thank God for that). He was a maniac until he got saved.

Believe me...I know.

Sex is probably the most powerful thing that can happen to a kid. It's chemical.

You can be addicted to the chemicals that sex releases into the brain at almost any age.

Has nothing to do with the opposite sex.

Has everything to do with chemical addiction.

And sex is more powerful than heroin...more powerful than cocaine.

I was playing “I’ll show you mine if you show me yours” with similarly-aged neighbor girls when I was about seven. Most happily joined in and I found it quite pleasurable. It didn’t ruin my life. Marrying that bitch who wouldn’t show me hers did ruin my life, though. :-)

You are right. This kind of premature sexual engagement is severely damaging to the normal development of attachment in young males. Years before it became fodder for the evening news, mental health professionals understood it. They called it hyper sexualization. The effect is promiscuity, and it shows in female as well as male child victims.

It is the reason why young teen males in the inner city go around spawning children indiscriminately and without any sense of responsibility.

It’s a huge dopamine and serotonin hit. And a whole load of endorphins. Kind of hard to give up once you start it.
