President Donald Trump expressed frustration behind closed doors with people coming to the US from "shithole countries," The Washington Post reported Thursday. "Why are we having all these people from shithole countries come here?" Trump said, according to the Post, which cited two people briefed on the Thursday Oval Office meeting with lawmakers. Trump, in vulgar terms, rejects bipartisan immigration proposal at White House meeting
When lawmakers in the meeting floated restoring Temporary Protected Status for some immigrants, Trump grew frustrated and shocked the lawmakers with his "shithole" comment in reference to African countries and Haiti, according to the Post. Trump then suggested the US should bring in more people from countries like Norway, the report said. A person briefed on the meeting told CNN that Democratic Sen. Dick Durbin was running through a proposal listing countries that would be covered by TPS protections in exchange for ending the visa lottery. The person said when Durbin got to Haiti, Trump began to ask why we want people from Haiti in the US and asked why we want more Africans. The President then said, according to this person, why do we want all these people from "shithole countries" coming here -- and added that the US should get more people from countries like Norway.

Yet he's not banning people from those.
We always need to keep in mind that Democrats want to bring people from those countries where the people will have a high probability of voting Democrat.
Democrats do not care if immigrants are productive.
See the current headline at Drudge. I don’t visit there very often now, but I just happened to stop by.
On second thought - perhaps President Trump could work a one for one deal where for every immigrant we accept, one member of the mainstream media is deported to replace them.
I think I’d go for that one.
Shouldn’t all these illegal alien invaders stay in their sh**hole countries and make them better? What losers.
CNN - in their “whack-a-mole” world of journalism - will seize upon that word and create a three day narrative about it.
The same bunch of libs - the media, Hollywood, democrats in general - will have a field day about him using a bad word, even though they stream a steady supply of the F-word, MF-word, and other epithets toward Trump.
They will now try and lecture us all about “morality”...the party of abortions, homosexuality, transvestites, pedophilia, and drugs...amongst other things, will try and lecture US on “morality” because Trump uttered a word - a very, true word, BTW - that they see some “mileage” in to “expose” him to his base.
But, I - and many others - completely agree with Trump...they ARE “shithole” countries. Their people are ignorant, and are only interested in coming here for the freebies.
Trump should say, “Yeah...I said ‘SHITHOLE’...what are you going to do about it, other than talk?”.
And I bet Hillary had equally pleasant things to say about certain countries as well, eh?
Japan and Switzerland both have a good handle on the problem.
Third world country is the appropriate terminology for shithole countries. A shithole by any other name is still a shithole.
In a way if this is true, I’m a bit put off...but in my private conversations with family and friends I refer to these countries as “shithole” myself, which again is why I admire Trump for saying it like it is. My wife, by the way, laughed and sent another check to his reelection campaign.
Because the people in those countries vote for tin pot dictators!
Yea, so?
He left out “backwards”
It is all about:
Potential Democrat Voters
Big Donors
Virtue signaling
Does this mean we all can use the term "sh*thole" now? What the h*ll has happened to this country? D*mn CNN, they'll take the top 5 of 10 awards at Trump's Award Ceremony next week. Which will convienently come after the Inspector General's report.
With this one simple line, The Donald has just surpassed Ronaldus Maximus as the greatest President EVER!
CNN and the Washington Compost, two of the biggest liars in MSM.
But I hope he said it. It’s time we stopped mealy-mouthing.
We’re not only not getting their best, we’re getting the dregs from these horrible, filthy backward places.
He just used the shorthand we use here to say it.
Most Americans don’t like it, either, Mr. President.
That’s why we sent you there.
