Just because I attended rallies and supported the President’s campaign through donations, that does not mean I have to agree with every decision made by my President.
As far as I can tell, Sessions was a good Senator, and I appreciated him supporting Trump early on. However, he is not an effective AG IMHO.
Can he really let Sessions go any time he wants?? Who would be next in line to be AG within the DOJ? Can you imagine the circus that would ensue if Trump let Sessions go? How long do you think it would take the senate to confirm a new AG?
No, I don’t think it would be all that easy for President Trump to let him go, and I think he keeps him as AG for the reasons I stated in the previous paragraph.
But as I said in my previous post to another poster...
maybe there is a big behind-the scenes plan...you decide.
