I had people on the AOL Whitewater bulletin board and Free Republican tell me it just wasn’t important.
I said that it would be a plague on the nation. Very few would listen. I was called a racist, a xenophobe, and a person who just hated Mexicans.
I’ve been trying to talk sense to people for about 25 years on this issue, and folks have made it quite clear, it’s anyone elses problem but their own.

I 1989, our inland illegal alien abatement programs ceased to exist. There were no raids. There were no mass deportations. It was a free-for-all.
