Arnold Schwarzenegger and California Assemblyman to form coalition of moderate Republicans

In the context of an administration that has pushed more radical positions on issues such as immigration and climate change, Schwarzenegger will now be stepping up his political activism once more.

"Arnold is very excited for New Way," Ketchell said.

Tuesday's press conference with Mayes and Republican Assemblymember Rocky Chavez from San Diego was thin on details. Mayes office was unable to publicly confirm any additional members of the new coalition and remained general when it came to its objectives.

“There’s so many people in California who feel like they have no place to go,” Mayes said to reporters. "The old way isn't working and it's time for a new way." What exactly that new way will look like on a policy level remained unclear.

These people are democrats who just noticed that Uncle Sam wasn't going to cover their remittances to Sacramento. Realistically, this is a good "baby step".

Does anyone really think any better than this can be expected in today's California?

Almost funny, isn’t it? Red diaper babies like Billie Kristol and other nevertrumpers like him, still being referred to as “conservatives”.
They supported an odious Democrat in 2016 but still insist they are not only Republicans but also conservatives.
Yeah, they’ve come out of the closet.

Why don’t they just change their own party affiliation to what they really are, liberal democrats?

Because the actual Communists in California have already appropriated the name for themselves.

Moderate California Republicans: Pro-gay marriage, pro-transgender military, pro-legalized weed, pro-amnesty, pro-DACA, Anti-Law and Order. What’s not to love?

THEY DO have a place to go——EAST or NORTH into other states.
