This is my fear.
We build the wall, and then a Democrat is elected President, and thousands of Hispanics and Antifa Democrats tear down part of the wall in some grand theatrical media ploy like the Berlin wall in 1989.
And then our country will be run over by Mexicans.
I miss the days when Democrats actually wanted to defend our country.
I am holding fire until Trump defines “ border security” to include 100% of the Wall, E verify and an end to chain/lottery. If that is what is in his “clean” bill then Ill be very supportive but if by chance as Rush Limbaugh just says, Trump goes wobbly and grants amnesty, he has just destroyed himself. Its up to him. He is far too clear on the record on these things not to be shredded if he does that to himself and I for one believe he is far too smart to ever even consider that. After that we define “comprehensive immigration reform” which is H1 and all the legal limitations on people with no skills or allegiance to the Constitution and our culture.I think we are fine ere so far but as a base member , I assure you we are watching like hawks.

Trump also had a meeting with Repubs same subject a couple of days ago behind closed doors as I recall.

Second, Lawmakers keep wanting to ‘solve the problem’ of when existing laws weren’t followed.
Why another “deal”, another useless set of laws we all know neither parties want nor have any intention to have it upheld or executed?

NO!!! This is exactly what doomed President Reagan’s immigration bill. The d**n Democrats got him to grant amnesty to three million illegal aliens, while promising to increase border security. Of course they were lying as usual, and the enforcement at the border never happened.
As a result, now we have almost twenty million illegals. They must be deported, as Pres. Eisenhower did in Operation Wetback, or we will have 100 million in twenty years. Pres. Trump will have FAILED if he falls for the same lies that Reagan did, because history will definitely repeat itself.
It was stunning in that conference when he said basically “I’ll sign whatever congress can agree on”.
Unbelievable sellout on a key issue that got him elected. He is cucking on immigration. He is looking for a way to get a major amnesty through and not pay a political price.

Ending chain migration and securing the border are the ‘without which, nothing else’ horse before the cart of worrying about the poor DACA dears.
We can handle ‘birthright’ citizenship once our southwest border is secure, if we can stop them from trespassing (and squatting) with the wall. Assimilate the ones here and reinstate de jure national sovereignty.
