Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., on Tuesday released the full transcript from Fusion GPS co-founder Glenn Simpson's testimony to the Senate Judiciary Committee regarding Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.
"The innuendo and misinformation circulating about the transcript are part of a deeply troubling effort to undermine the investigation into potential collusion and obstruction of justice," Feinstein said in a statement. "The only way to set the record straight is to make the transcript public."
The release of the transcript, Feinstein said, was supported by committee Democrats. The move follows committee a decision by Republicans Chuck Grassley and Lindsey Graham to issue a criminal referral last week against Christopher Steele, the former British spy who authored the largely unverified "Trump dossier."
This story is developing. Please check back for updates.
“133: Says had no foreknowledge of Veselnitskaya meeting with Trump, Jr.”
Yeah, just the coincidence of the century. He meets with a fellow FusionGPS employee ( Veselnitskaya ) hours before she meets with Donald Trump Jr, and meets with her hours later, but they never discussed it. Yeah, sue.
What the hell is Sessions waiting for?
“In reality, the more truth that is exposed, the worse Democrats will always look.”
This is 100% spot on true. And it applies to Republicans too.
154f: Discusses how Steele research team handled report of Trump campaign receiving opposition research on Hillary; 161f says Simpson and Steele discussed going to FBI with information on June 20, 2016.
.....”A lot of his answers were redacted anyway. This is the biggest nothingburger of a story in the history of nothingburgers........
I read it.....Congressional leaders are the worst to be conducting this.....what a show! Nobody is in lockstep and reads like a kindergarten interrogation.

164-5: Steele talked to contact at FBI in late June/early July 2016.
166: Name of Steele’s FBI contact redacted out.
I didn’t see anything in this that offered anything already available.
“MR. DAVIS: Finally, we ask that you not speak about what we discuss in this interview with anyone else outside of who’s here in the room today in order to preserve the integrity of our investigation. We also ask that you not remove any exhibits or other committee documents from the interview.”
So much for that.
170f: Discusses follow-up contacts with FBI in mid/late September 2016.
177: Deletes name of Steele contact in Rome.
No better than Brazille...
179: Says sometime after October 31, 2016 Steele severed relation with FBI out of concern Trump people were manipulating FBI for political ends (apparently no prior concern about political manipulation of FBI lol).
I think they are trying to make the case this was the info that spawned the first, and denied, attempt to tap Trump Tower. Note the next contact by steele happens in October wherein we suspect the court approved some monitoring. That is what I take from this.
As far as the commie attorney goes, suposedly the did not speak much if any english. if so, how did trump talk to her, by sign lanugage??
There was questioning by both sides of the committee.
"...lengthy responses to the Senate Judiciary Committees questioning..."
Sure. Of course, some folks get up there, swear under to tell the truth and then lie through their teeth, too.
Imagine if Nunes, without consulting and agreeing with his committee released classified documents? Just imagine...
Excellent point!
180f: denies knowing Agalarov, Rob Goldstone
