The NFL had a disastrous weekend when it came to ratings. Numbers have been down all season and it was more of the same for the wild-card games. The biggest surprise was that the best game (Panthers-Falcons) had the biggest decrease year over year. Yes, markets were a big factor, but that was a competitive and entertaining game. Here's the breakdown:
Titans-Chiefs (14.7) was down 11 percent versus last year's Raiders-Texans game.
Falcons-Rams (14.9) was down 10 percent versus last year's Lions-Seahawks game.
Bills-Jaguars (17.2) was down 10 percent versus last year's Dolphins-Steelers game.
Panthers-Saints (20.4) was down 21 percent versus last year's Giants-Packers game.

Indeed, I've been surprised at how many people are so captivated by the bread and circuses that football represent that they'll willingly continue their support despite the players and owners metaphorically spitting in the eyes of their customers. I suppose I should have expected it given how many people still willingly support worms like Clintons (either one) or Obama.
I guess it's latent optimism that drives my hope that people would, in general, have more sense than that. It is obvious that such optimism is misplaced, especially when directed at mouth breathers who get excited about the results of a children's game. Your continued support of millionaires who fart in your general direct is pretty funny to watch, though it is sad as well. Keep it up. I'm sure the BLM folks appreciate your support.

the left appreciates your support in their attempt to destroy Masculinity

“I do believe that the left wants to cause great damage to the NFL,” Limbaugh said. “What does the NFL stand for? Masculinity, strength, toughness. So, what are they doing to it?”
He continued that the left is using NFL players to destroy the league because “they don’t like displays of patriotism, strength, rugged individualism.” He continued, “they think it’s about police brutality, they think it’s about righting social wrongs, and so forth. This is an attack on the NFL as an institution for shaking it down and lowering its profile and impact on American culture. We’re in the midst of a culture war. Everybody knows it.”
Here is the thing with me. They have hurt themselves. Allowing abuse of girlfriends and wives. Allow cheating by teams. The effect of betting on the game is still an issue. The whole social justice crap is just more of FU NFL. I want a boycott years ago.
Sure, they should have just fired them all and been accused of being racist, that would quieted the critics.
Blocking arrests and most likely paying off DAs and police save many from jail. Different levels of justice will kill us all.

More name calling, what a surprise and more fascination with what the men are wearing. (you may want to speak to a therapist about your deep seated homo-erotic fantasies). And an intense need to try and make people think like you do, I really think you’d be much happier at DU.
You might also want to take some remedial english comprehension classes in between these games that apparently mean so much to you.
Sorry I already told you one stupid individual does not make the NFL just like you’re dumb ass doesn’t represent everyone on free republic. It’s really not that hard to understand. Did you stop watching football cause you were confused by the feelings of arousal that stirred watching all those men on third tight pants.
Try and take less than three hours to reply and make it better than “ no you are” like your last lame post
You're having issues with projection. There are organizations that can help you restrain your unnatural, perverted urges.
Dude give it up, it took you till the next day and the best you can come up with is a verbose version of “I know you are but what am I?”
My response then is: I’m an elastomer and you’re an adhesive it reflects off me but to you is cohesive.
“...Vanilla milk shake...”
I think I remember they couldn’t be called milk shakes because they were made from soy, but we loved ‘em anyway.
give me McDee’s fries and vanilla soy shakes and forget the rest of the menu. Except I do like their oatmeal in a cup. It’s been probably 5 years since I was in a McDee’s so I don’t know if the oatmeal still exists. It was so good that my wife and I copied it and have it at home now. She will get an egg McMuffin also.
I'd say you were an astroturf shill for the NFL, but I honestly couldn't envision someone paying for a product executed so incredibly poorly.
I could call you astro-turf but it’s really two syllables more than I needed...You Ass
