The NFL had a disastrous weekend when it came to ratings. Numbers have been down all season and it was more of the same for the wild-card games. The biggest surprise was that the best game (Panthers-Falcons) had the biggest decrease year over year. Yes, markets were a big factor, but that was a competitive and entertaining game. Here's the breakdown:
Titans-Chiefs (14.7) was down 11 percent versus last year's Raiders-Texans game.
Falcons-Rams (14.9) was down 10 percent versus last year's Lions-Seahawks game.
Bills-Jaguars (17.2) was down 10 percent versus last year's Dolphins-Steelers game.
Panthers-Saints (20.4) was down 21 percent versus last year's Giants-Packers game.

You, young lady, are an .....never mind!
Quit, while you’re behind.
Yes maam!
Ok (moron lame (goattweaker))
A more appropriate tagline for you would be (flectere et sumam eam (cockholster))
I’m not the one who disses the Flag, military & law enforcement! Now go back to the basement, little girl!
I see you use the Democrats playbook for your tagline! Troll! Good night little girl!
whatever loser, you called me a girl I insulted you in Latin, you’re way over your head. go away, better yet pretend freerepublic is the NFL and I am a protester and just boycott it.
Go team! lol.
Seeing as you can’t separate the entity from the individual may I suggest you just boycott freerepublic cause you disagree with me and they just allow it to continue.
You're such a moron. People like you, who get all excited about grown men playing a children's game are really kind of pathetic. Does someone dress you in the morning too?
I’ve come to despise Sean Payton and Drew Brees.
Both are pc liberal pu$$ies.
Funny, but a job at McD’s is too good for him. The people at our local McD’s are great, hardworking people. I really wish McD jobs were not treated as if they had no value. All honest labor has value.
Hey, I like McD’s! I love their coffee, for one thing, and there’s nothing wrong with an original burger and fresh, hot fries. Too bad I’m on a low carb diet. :-(
They started ruining pro football long before the protests. First they started trying to jazz it up by adding cheerleaders who, of course, were not anything like real cheerleaders. Then they decided to try to make it more female-friendly by adding sideline babes and human interest stories. Then along came the causes that they all supposedly cared about, like wearing pink for breast cancer awareness and having multi-millionaire players seen wasting their time handing out food at homeless shelters at Thanksgiving. (Most of those people looked quite capable of getting their own food, but that’s another issue.)
Now, they’re getting all politically relevant.
The other problem is how the players behave on the field. Sportsmanship is gone. To me it started with guys standing over a player he just tackled in some sort of conquest pose. Then, of course, there are all the ridiculous gyrations after touchdowns. Now we have players avoiding their teammates after a great play so they can stand in front of the nearest camera.
The whole thing is very tiresome. I prefer to watch college, where they have to behave at least somewhat, although the antics are getting worse.
What’s an “NFL”?
If only I cared as much about your opinions as much as you care how I entertain myself on a Sunday afternoon. People like you, who get all excited about grown men watching a game are really kind of pathetic. And why are you asking if I’m dressed you fag.
Your english comprehension skills are as impressive as your ability to reason.
Keep it up. Many are enjoying laughing at you.
hmm knee jerk overreactions, petulant temper tantrums, huge delusions of self importance of their beliefs, trying to force their beliefs on you, denying facts (for example 37 of the 50 highest rated 2017 tv programs were NFL games), calling names when confronted with facts, the ignorant belief that they know what is better for you than you know what is better for you.
now where have I seen that kind of juvenile behavior before?
