Male co-pilot allegedly slaps female commander, leaves cockpit unattended during Jet Airways flight

No names mentioned. They go out of their way to avoid calling her anything except "commander", but note:

"The flight crew eventually managed to coax the woman back into the captain’s seat, and the plane landed safely in London just after midnight on Jan. 2."

Perhaps she wasn't covered enough?

This is why no one should ever fly on an airline headquartered in the Middle East, India, or any of the Asian countries, because you never know when you will get some deranged muslim nutball as your pilot. Possible exception would be Singapore Airlines.

My first thought when she read this was that she was on a qual flight or something like that with a veteran in the co-pilot seat to grade her.

He should be canned, no questions asked, for slapping her (unless she was acting irrationally and wouldn’t relinquish the controls or something like that, which it doesn’t sound like)

But I don’t like that she left in tears either. That is a problem for me.
