Tires do not lose air because it’s cold tires lose pressure when it’s cold because the air contracts. It is possible that if the temperature goes down enough that the lowering air pressure can make the bead around the tire a little leaky and in that sense it could but it would need to be very very very cold for that to happen.
I do love your sun valley/Bend area, bray, wish I could visit more often.

We are blessed in many ways. There are people who want to continue government dependence for selfish political purposes.
Less government dependence is better for our children and grandchildren. Our lives are enriched when we have freedoms without interference. I do not want government to pretend to be parents, taking care of everything. My grandparents came here to this country for opportunities and freedom. They were willing to work hard, not taking government handouts because they were too proud. They were just glad to have the opportunity to work hard. We should help those in true need, but reinforce people to work hard.
Things mean more when earned. Certain political operatives
want to control people utilizing government laws.

These tires DO lose air as two of them went totally flat once the air turned cold. All summer and fall this tire works fine (all of them do) but come one cold spell, boom. it loses air and if I do not fill it will eventually go flat.
yeah, something about the bead and yes, it is very, very cold here....around 9 degrees...high maybe 19.
I am, one by one, replacing these tires.
The lefties who receive the Trump awards tomorrow, will probably hold the prize up bragging they got noticed for something regardless of the negatives. We can see it now, ha ha “the Anti-Trump Award” is a badge of honor in liberal circles. Tapper, Lemon, Cooper will interview the “Award Winners” laughing with pleasure. The winners can also appear on “The View” and late night shows. We won something for misleading the public with “fake news.”
That 22 miles is just about Grandma's daily drive to our daughter's place. And we're in the crowded part of Montana. (Not counting cows.)
I was working out in the NE corner of the state a few years ago where everybody closed business right after lunch on Friday so they could go shopping and/or do doctor's appointments.
...in Billings, which is just over 300 miles. One way. Snowy roads standard 4 or 5 months out of the year.

The steel or alloy rim and the rubber tire obviously have different expansion rates regarding temperature. When it gets really cold....perfectly good tires can go flat, leaking around the rim.
