Yes, the braking ability comes from the tires. Up here, where winters can be harsh, nothing beats a set of four studded snow tires...but even they have their limitations.
Down there, where it seldom snows, it would be hard to justify buying them. But even a pair of mounted regular winter tires, stashed in the garage, would not be a bad idea.

Agree on all points. Enjoyed the movie as it reallynexposed the its all about the agenda. Still surprised they laid out Mena including the potential Bush tie in, they even throw in a brief Bush junior part with his exchange with Seal about piloting while in the White House.
It always felt odd the way that Bush Sr embraced Billy Jeff, now it’s pretty clear why. Typical Clinton style. Engage in something illegal but make sure you have the goods on others so you will never be held accountable
I know people in Key West aka “Conchs” who never ever leave the island!!A big trip for them would be to the Square Grouper on Summerland Key which is 22 miles from Key West. That would be a really long trip.

Wolff has admitted many parts of the book may not be truthful.
So, I would think the book can be branded “pure fiction.” If the news media continues to promote the book, the news media looks foolish and full of bias. The news media is associated with more negative Trump rhetoric, which continues to promote the image they are fools. The news media has an image problem which will takes years and years to overcome. The country is hungry for honest news reporting free of democrat or republican talking points. Promoting a fiction book only hurts the media’s credibility.
Agreed it was a very revealing movie!Showed just how invested the CIA has been in “chaos” for decades now. They had to know the contras were just drunks and druggies and could care less about fighting yet they continued with the op and in the end placed the blame with someone else. Sound familiar?
Chuck Todd is a hack. Only one question to Wolff on violating “off the record”. Wolff is a sneaky, rapid-eye-blinking POS.

For any driver, doing slick skid practice in an empty parking lot, with their own vehicle no matter what it is, would be good training for everybody.
My dad was complaining he had a ‘flat’ tire on his pickup truck last week. We’ve been REALLY cold for around here - was 4 degrees when I went to bed last night - currently only up to 14 at 11:00 ... with snow on the ground (ugh).
Anyway, I checked his tires & all 4 of them were down and registering between 10 & 15 pounds on the pressure gauge - should be 35. Mom’s car also had low tires, but not quite that bad - one tire was really low in comparison to the other 3. That very low tire I monitored for a couple of days - not sure if it was just the cold air or a slow leak - it’s held pressure so it appears to have been the cold.
I have an uncle in the Orlando area - complaining to me last week it was SO cold .... 41 degrees. I was not impressed since we’re that temp with numbers reversed! I suspect he was grumpy because he was too chilly in shorts - he never wears long pants. :-)
