Excerpts - Forty-six states including Sessions' home state of Alabama have legalized some form of medical marijuana in recent years, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures. Eight of those states also allow recreational marijuana.
The only legal protection now for medical marijuana growers, processors, sellers and users is a temporary measure sponsored by Republican California Rep. Dana Rohrabacher and Democratic Oregon Rep. Earl Blumenauer prohibiting the U.S. Department of Justice from using government funds to target them.

“Other long-term effects of cocaine use include being malnourished, because cocaine decreases appetite, and movement disorders, including Parkinsons disease, which may occur after many years of use.”

Meant to ping you for post #81, as well. The following is from narcanon =>

Heroin Addiction Signs
One: Inexplicable weight loss
Heroin addicts often waste away and shed weight until they develop an emaciated appearance. Very often, the drug will cause nausea in a user, and a person taking heroin may experience a loss of appetite.

No idea where this person is coming from. Sure seems to be incredibly proud of their inexplicable ignorance of the blatantly obvious, especially considering their alleged daily interaction with drug addicts.
What unsubstantiated nonsense
Even drug warriors admit pot use for chemo nausea and appetite and glaucoma and acute seizure syndrome in children and pain relief enhancement in conjunction with other pain meds
It’s free republic though
You can say about anything except racism or anti semitism
So fire away
Btw your precious booze....now that is a national problem,
I’ve had destructive selfish drunks in my family
I’ll take a couch locked Spicolli any day
You got it back asswards
witty pithy and well done...proper
Nobody is espousing weed as a cure for anything are they
It’s palliative meds for a few things
Sounds like you over powered your sdiction. I think you are a strong person and i sdmire that you did. Marijana is far more adictive and destructive physiically that alcohol. Especially with the newer concocktions. Dont replace a bad with a worse.dont kill your brain with that crap. That is why it is listed as illegal by the federal government and prople are punished for possession and distribution.. dirty rotton weed.
I have cancer.i would never compound my problems with marijuana. They have acual nausea medications that work. Actually marijuana makes you nauseas.dont fall for all that illgal weed bs.
I know folks who take it including two of my own relative
Phenegran works great but boy is it a drowsy dope
Zofran never worked for me
My best friend is under going chemo cream and radiation for skin cancers from living the life of the Flipper kid in Naples Marco Island as a pale cotton haired boy
He doesnt like weed he prefers scotch and used to like marching powder in the cowboy days in south Florida
Claims weed is for hippies
But he likes it for chemo
But good luck whatever works
I havent smoked since the 80s
And I hate booze
I like women
Alice Cooper was the opposite.

Marijuana is more destructive than alcohol?
I couldnt disagree more but I want to hear a lucid reasoning for that
Ive dealt with serious alcoholism as close to me as one can get
It was brutal brutal on all of us
My little brother is a chronic 10X
Pretty lazy and procrastinates
But that is nothing and I mean nothing compared to a drunk Tallulah
Alcohol kills a lot of folks
Nobody dies from pot itself
Maybe some impaired drivers
I drove high and its not anything like being drunk and driving
Im not advising it but its not even half the issue drunk driving is
Drunk driving is like quaalude or Xanax driving
Stoned driving rarely is more incapacitating than a glass of wine
You may zone out and miss the green light waiting thru the red and likely to drive too slow and of course uber paranoid but not so much weaving and reckless
Have you ever been high from pot?
And incredibly addictive as well.
Pick your poison.
Yet damages the liver.
Pick your poison.
You refer to extensive experience, but you post links to articles. How much heroin and cocaine have you used? Or, how many addicts have you worked with?
If you are nauseous and you roll a bump of coke youre going to be hitting the cheetos shortly. If you smoke a little china youre going to relax, lose the nausea, and dig in to some dinner.
You are posting links to severe binging addiction effects and acting like you have made a point. Thats like me saying that smoking/gourging a pound of weed will make you throw up and therefore will not cure nausea.
You just arent serious and you seem terrified that I can so easily link pot with heroin and coke. Why? You arent all about infringing on peoples natural rights, are you? Coke and heroin legalization is a tenth amendment issue. Same as pot. And that is why I found your orihinal post to be so silly and naive.
Perhaps this is just a way of highlighting that no law is too big or too small to require enforcement - and to display that the Congress is not doing its job - if they realize a law is bad, they should get rid of it, not leave it as a hidden hammer for when they decide it “needs to be enforced to send a message” or maybe for when they have no other way to get someone they think needs getting.....
I drove high and its not anything like being drunk and driving

^ example # one why the pro-pot movement is not taken seriously by a great deal of people.
...long term effects...
You post one link about long term affects? Lol. Ken, you never fail.
That is like me posting the effects of drinking 10 pots of coffee and declaring that coffee is a hallucinagen.
When we were in Colorado my husband gave a ride to a young man back to his cannabis shop where he dispensed the stuff. He told hubby he has a fold out piece of literature that he uses for dosages. I believe it has its place in the medical field but more study needs to be done in some cases.
