How much are solar and wind energy contributing in the region right now? Are their any websites we can look at?
Are they sure it wasn’t a thermonuclear bomb cyclone?
this article is bunk
it does not take into account imported electricity production from Canada and the Midwest
To press my point I remind them that Nothing grows in the freezing cold vs crops & trees grows faster in warm weather. Thus in reality the choice really is No Food vs Abundant Food and at lower prices for having a surplus supply. But still they bemoan Global Warming now re-labeled as Climate Change.
A while back when New Englanders were meddling in Alaska’s affairs concerning oil production we had a popular bumper sticker that read “Let the Bastards Freeze in the Dark”. Maybe it’ll come to that now.
Why are they not complaining about how warm the planet is getting?
My electric bill here in MA is outrageous all because the moonbats refuse to have a gas pipeline built.
this has been going on for a long time.
Adam Smith’s invisible had just got frostbite.
“Putting the theory of customers willing to pay more in order to save the planet to the test”
The theory has been tested long ago and it systematically fails.
BTW, paying more has never “saved the planet” or the environment or the climate or whatsoever, it’s a big lie, it just make us poorer.
Ive said before, here; that natural gas electric generation has its own risks.
Supply disruption.
With other thermal forms of generation there is ample on site fuel storage that buffer events like polar air masses.
Thank God Trump shut this lunacy down before it froze the entire country. Here in Kentucky it’s -2 and there’s plenty of reasonably price electricity to keep me warm (there 8 coal fired plants within 50 miles of me). Why doesn’t New England just put more gas pipelines in? Their rat legislatures should just mandate solar only heating in Massachusetts and New York.
