Just an aside, even as an an Idaho resident, my employer tracks my physical work location and assesses state income taxes by state. I made two trips to San Diego and one to Nebraska this year. Likely just enough to generate a W2 for both of those additional states. That saddles me with purchasing additional TurboTax state editions for each state that generates a W2 plus a filing fee. The taxes paid to Nebraska usually get refunded 100%, yet the amount refunded is less than the cost of the state edition plus filing fee. California may be similar due to limited visits.

How much of a refund? If it's less than the cost of Turbo Tax, you probably don't need to file in those states anyway. I have clients who work in several different states & earn a W-2, but many times we don't file in those states. Although, I would earn additional filing fees, I generally recommend against it unless the refund covers the cost.
