Until now, the Republican establishment has lacked a figurehead behind which it could mobilize against Trump. He got one thing right - Romney is nothing but a figurehead.

Two things: I’m not sure Trump will run in 2020 and the only way he could be beaten if he does, is if the winning has not been happening for a while.
The thing about trump is that, though he does not articulate his points well, his points ARE genius. We have entered the first period of political sanity in my lifetime.
